Die FX-3420 2U High Performance Appliance basiert auf der Dual 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon CPU-Reihe und kann dank mehreren DDR4 2666MHz REG DIMM Modulen mit bis zu einer Speicherkapazität von max. 768 GB ausgestattet werden. Die Appliance verfügt mit 12 x SATA 3,5“ hot-swapfähigen Bays an der Vorderseite sowie weiteren 2 x 2,5“ SATA Bays an der Hinterseite über eine hohe Festplattendichte. Bezüglich der Konnektivität bietet die FX-3420 6 x GbE RJ45 Ports, 4 x 10G SFP+ Ports, 1 x MGMT Port, 2 x USB 2.0 Ports, 2 x USB 3.0 Ports (Hinterseite), 2 x PCIe*16 FHHL Slots und 1 x PCIe*8 FHHL Slot. Mit diesen vielseitigen und hochleistungsfähigen Eigenschaften ist die FX-3420 eine ideale Lösung in Anwendungsbereichen wie z.B. VDI, Cloud Computing oder SD Storage-Plattformen und kann optimal als High-Performance Computing Server eingesetzt werden.
